I just saw this and was going to post this. HOW COOL!

I have a Frost River pack - the Isle Royale, and it's honestly one of my very favorite packs! Not only because I won it for free in a writing contest, but also because of its aesthetics, it is incredibly rugged, and is comfortable (once broken in)!

Way to go Frost River!

Makes me want to go online and order something....as if I needed an excuse.

My wife has a home based Embroidery business.

She has a friend who is a nurse and her friend told her that the University of Iowa’s Children’s Hospital is in desperate need of medical masks.

Well, I am proud to say that my wife has spent this weekend making medical masks. She is planning to make a whole bunch of them and get them to the Children’s hospital.

A Facebook friend of my wife heard that she was making medical masks ... and now she is cranking up her sewing machine and making medical masks.

I've read that a haute couture fashion company in NYC is also repurposing its seamstresses and that even individual seamstresses are volunteering their time and skill. I just hope that someone in government or even private industry can get them a template and the materials they'll need.

I think it would be hard to breath through a wax impregnated, canvass membrane :-)

Joking, they are just down the road from my place in Duluth, good job. I go in there often, hope it works out.

Kudos to the folks at Frost River! They are halting production to concentrate on making masks for the medical industry. Everyone pulling together to get through this. That’s what it's all about!

LOL :)

Kudos to them. I have not purchased any of their products as of yet, but this might just tip me toward doing so in the future.
