Some of my early memories involve Mom, a 17' square stern Herter's canoe, and the lower Wisconsin River. Good moms leave good legacies.

Happy Mother's Day.

Happy Mother's Day to all the moms. You are very special people. It's wonderful that we take a day to recognize the importance of mothers.

Yes Happy Mother’s Day. Moms are amazing. I loved my mother. I called her “ma.”
She was the kindest person I ever knew. And the best cook. I swear that she could scoop garbage out of the can and doctor it up and I would say “ ma this is the best!”

She died when I was 18 , 64 now and I still think about her all the time. I’m proud that I was named after her. She was Josephine and I’m Joseph.

That’s her and my dad. He’s one of my hero’s too.
