I'm jealous, not only have I never seen a bear with cubs, the last bear I saw, also not only gave me the rear shot, but took a dump too

I guess that's better than the one before that which tried to crawl on top of the hood of my truck

2 of the 3 times that I've seen bears up the Gunflint have been right on the Gunflint Trail near Tuscarora. Will be up there soon with my daughter that has never seen a bear and hope this crew is still hanging around.

Thanks for the pics

I saw a healthy looking bear on the Arrowhead trail last week. It had been a couple of years since I had seen one up there, so it was a good sighting!

I have seen 8 different bears so far this year.

They are always interesting to see.

Saw a very big black bear this morning on my walk about 100 feet away.

He didn't know I was around until I said get he took one look and took off.

A nice respectable bear.

The 9th bear I have seen this year.

Mama bear and three cubs alongside the Gunflint Trail near Tuscarora. I asked them to all face my camera, but they gave me the "rear" view and kept on eating. Only had my cell phone camera as my good one was buried in the back of the truck... of course :)
