How do I find e-mails to e-mail someone?

You need to be logged in In order for the envelope to appear.

I wish there was an instant message feature here. Many times over the years I’ve had people contact me with an email question. If the person has no tiny envelope to click you can go to the General Discussion forum and ask a screen name to email you.

If a person wants to be available by email, there is a little envelope under their name, like there is for you. Some of us do not want to put our email on the website, and we have opted out.
On my PC when you click on the envelope icon the email address appears down at the bottom left of the page, very small. Not sure how that works on Mac and Apple devices.

PMs would be nice, but I know from experience with another forum they can really stack up over the years and create storage issues if not cleaned out. I also know that they are never actually “private” — mods and admins can read them without users knowing, so email is a pretty good option. I just created a “junk” account for forum use.
