Good cleaning and coat of 303 spray will go a long way. The white scratches will not buff out and at some point depending on your desires a coat of paint or color matched vynil-resin may be in order.

On my yearly trip this year I thought I could pack five guys into two canoes. I was wrong. LOL. So I ended up renting a Canak from Seagull Outfitters. After 8-days of paddling it around from Seagull Lake, around Knife Lake, and into Big Sag, I fell in love with the Canak.

Made it back to Seagull Outfitters at the end of the trip and made an offer to Debbie (Seagull owner) and she accepted! I am now the proud owner of a lightly used Canak.

I have never owned a boat with a gel coat on it. Does anyone here have any suggestions for buffing out the gel coat and making it super pretty again? I was thinking buffing compound and a car waxer machine but I wanted to ask all of your opinions.

Ditto on the 303...it works wonders.
