I'm sure most of you know that the Madison Canoecopia will be happening only as an online "Virtual" show in March.

But just learned that the St. Paul and the St. Cloud sport shows have been cancelled as well. No indication of a virtual show online.

Just an FYI for those of you who like to visit at the shows.

Unfortunately these cancellations were probably inevitable. I like to hit up the sports shows every year or so but had written it off this year already. I needed a new ice house and normally would have waited to get a deal at one of the sports/ice shows but I was concerned that the demand on outdoor gear would stay high and impact ice fishing gear next so I jumped on a new fish house in August when I saw one for a good price. Glad I did, I've already used it twice this year as a makeshift deer camp for myself.

I hadn't heard that Canoecopia had cancelled already!
Sad... I had high hopes it would be happening in 2021.

I hope 2021 is not a repeat of 2020.

Tomorrow (11/6) Midwest Mountaineering begins a nearly 3-week long series of online seminars. I believe they are all Facebook Live format, but there may also be additional ways to view.

Without things like this, this winter is gonna be a long one.
