tonecoughlin: "I thought all photos taken for contests we're supposed to be in that month taken? Did that change?" The rules for the contest are posted at the top of this thread, and it specifically says that photos do not have to be in any time frame. However, you are supposed to identify the location, and it always seems that there are several who do not do that. |

I've always liked this one looking over Clearwater lake. Framed the shot and then hurried to my seat before the shutter clicked! |

I took this photo along the Stuart River. We were paddling north towards the lake, and as we rounded a sharp turn, we spooked a doe and a buck. The doe crossed the river to the west and the buck stayed on the east side of the bank. This buck wasn’t going to lose that doe! I got out of the canoe and slowly moved through the tall grass. I was able to get within 10 yards of this buck - he wasn’t moving! I took a few photos and then finally backed away and we continued down the river. |
