Viewed the 3 LNT videos today. Same narrator, new diverse cast, much shorter script to accommodate our shorter attention spans. No bear, though; I miss cheering for the bear. Blue barrel is clearly not enough deterrence in the view of the Forest Service; they show a couple of campers hoisting (an empty) one with a complex 2 rope hang; it looked like it needed a pulley or at least a biner to get a loaded barrel out of reach. Dishwashing and bathing are to be 200 feet back from lake (wasn't it 150 feet before?).

Maybe these videos are not the right vehicle for educating people, but I think there should be a little more about safety, such as wearing PFDs, putting axes in the wood and not in your tendons, staying on land when the waves are too high; LNT means not leaving your lifeless corpse to wash up on the shore.

Nothing said about bushcraft. LNT means no ditching, no cutting trees for tables, chairs, and mini cabins.

Anyway, that's my rant du jour; what do you other film critics think?
