jerryr, was that campsite 1789 per chance? I think I stayed on 1788 last Sept and looked at 1789 as I departed the next morning....1789 was much better....
Here's a photo me and my 3 boys back on July 4, 2007 from site 1786 on the south end of the mid-lake peninsula....off my right shoulder you can see part of the cliffs that were in your second photo....very scenic view upon entering/exiting Nina Moose...

It is quite a shallow lake, but has some awesome walleye fishing if you hit it just right.
