I had a friend who took LYMERix in the 90s and it did not go well for him. He didn't sue or anything, but he had issues for a few years after.

Well, I tried, but my zip code isn't near a testing center. I tried a Madison zip code also, and that didn't work either.

I was vaccinated over 20 years ago.
LYMERix , was licensed in 1998. Had a success rate of 78% when all 3 shots had been given.
Taken off the market by Smith-Klien after vocal anti-vaccine groups started a slew of lawsuits of which nothing was proven.
A derivative of LYMERix has been available for pets just not human use.
Hopefully this French version will be accepted better.

Yes, it is interesting that our dog is vaccinated for Lyme, but we are not.... Not that I don't want the dog protected, also...

Like BH I was also vaccinated with LYMERix when it was available. I have been spending a lot of time in the western UP since the mid-1970’s. Never had any problems. Asked my primary care MD, who is also an infectious disease specialist, about the long term efficacy of LYMERix and he said I should have lifetime immunity. Real glad I got it since I can think of several acquaintances who have had Lyme disease.
