Lake 119 is off the beaten path. BWCA facing north.

While this is not much of a view, it comes from a small peninsula on the east side of the lake opposite the campsite. Two portages provide access, one from a PMA.
Only one guess so far is remotely near Lake 119.

Beautiful lake. This is an area that I haven't explored yet in the BWCA. This might be the year given the popularity of the park this year.

djwillco: "Neewin"

Neewin it is!

One of the two species in this shallow lake. (Perch are the forage)

Here's a shot north up the lake with the campsite in the upper left.

Ha! I didn't think I'd get it, but was familiar with the lake. I love that area. Glad the recent fire didn't get any worse! Would hate to see that section burn.

Here are a couple more shots of the natives facing NE and East. Only one campsite on Lake 119.
