Thank you for the kind words. My wife and I are planning on moving up to the Twin Cities next year and look forward to being able to do some canoeing with this terrific pair.

Here are two that I took with my phone. I’m sure the professional photos will be amazing!

Thank you so much for the use of your wonderful canoe and unbelievable assistance for the photo session. My daughter says that the proofs will be available in a few weeks as the photographer is loaded down with a mountain of wedding photos right now.

We will post some pictures when they become available.

They both have been with me on (2) 7-day trips to BWCA and share a love for the adventure and natural beauty of it up there. I think that they both are completely hooked on it.

It’s a tiny creek in Bloomington. Not actually canoe able. It’s in a small wider part.

The photographer and my daughter are setting up a date for the shoot, should be sometime this month. When they get proofs, I will post here.

I also have a cedar strip canoe. If the other doesn't work out. Otherwise I would love to see pictures.

Very cool. Where's the small creek? If that's what it is

Good morning,

My daughter and her fiance are engaged to be married next year and they have a special request. Due to their shared experiences in the BW, the photographer that they have hired thought that he would like to stage a photo session of them in a wooden canoe for their engagement shots. They live in St. Paul, MN.

Their request is to have someone who owns a wooden canoe meet them and the photographer at a specific lake in the Twin City area, and base the photos around them symbolically beginning their lives together in this canoe. The session would need to take place in the next few weeks to take advantage of the beauty of the fall leaves.

Is there anyone in the Twin Cities who would be willing to participate in this project with them? It would probably only take an hour or two.

Thank you for your kind consideration.

Here are some of the proofs from my daughter's engagement photo shoot from a few weeks ago. Thank you so much for the incredible help and use of the wooden canoe by Mordan.

Thank God there are still people that appreciate the rich warm beauty of a wooden boat. Can you imagine how the feel of the photos would change if the backdrop were aluminum, or kevlar. Yuk.

Beautiful pictures BTW!

I bet someone will chime in that's in the area. Might edit your post to say twin cities in the title. We've got a few but they're in IA....a little far for some photos.
