So just wanting some specifics. Do we pay anything to camp? Any food provided or pot luck type times? Just not seeing much for specifics and would like a little more information

I have other stuff going on that weekend, would it be ok to just come hang out for a couple hours on Saturday? I'll even bring some wings! Would love to meet and talk to folks.

He has been a huge loss to many of us... and you as well. I hope you find yourself feeling welcome among us. Only thing that would keep me from coming is if my surgery is scheduled around then. I’m in pain that I never thought possible to endure. Been up all night... I’ll just say... the people you’ll meet are some of the best this world has to offer."
Thanks very much! I’m excited about meeting & spending time among members & seeing his most valued friends. That is, this group of people is who I know he really identified with. I love seeing things he made & will enjoy seeing your hatchet & coozie if your pain permits. I hope you will get relief from that! I could say that I hope you get good medication in the mean time, but let me close with a quote from Dicecupmaker:
“I’m not a Dr but I play one on TV.”

I will double-check with them tomorrow, but I believe yes you can use a camper at this group camp. However, they do not allow electric usage for campers per the rules I see in the confirmation.

You could have put em in the for sale thread and mention you’d be there if interested. But a table like you suggest would be Adams call. Many of us can’t go anymore, you’d be in good company.

My camper has its own electric... haha. Thanks for checking Adam. It would just be another vehicle in the parking lot really.

Usually do a potluck dinner on Saturday afternoon breakfast and lunches are on your own. Usually a donation box is set up to cover the camping costs.

Typical Agenda:
Campfire, Camping, Conversation, Paddling at nearby Lake Rebecca, and Show and Tell of Gear and what not.
Baker Park - Marshview Group campsite
Camping starts up in the afternoon on Friday, 9/23
Saturday - Potluck lunch usually mid afternoon along with drawing for goodies.
Camping end by noon on 9/25.
Generally tents, but campers are allowed. Electricity is not an option for campers. There are two outlets in the barn that will likely be used for potluck etc.

I’d enjoy seeing that dice cup if you want to bring it! Yes he is missed by so many. He was a wonderful man to know & I enjoyed 6 very fun years with Mitch, including a Boundary Waters trip.

Would enjoy seeing that hatchet sheath, nctry! Sounds like he personalized it to you. He hand stitched everything & did leatherwork every day. It was also his stress reliever after working a 12 hour shift at the hospital. Glad you have that unique & functional item!
