Given the rapid snow melt that will happen this week, do you think that will have a greater effect on water levels because more water will run off as oppose to soak in?

From a few videos I have seen, it appears that water levels will be very high this spring.

I know that water levels last summer were very low, so maybe this spring will just bring them up closer to normal.

Water levels are very high right now. Some lakes are up more than a foot.

I saw a video on Seagull yesterday and they were saying it hasn't been this high in several years. I'm not sure what "normal" is anymore, but I'd expect high water. Could also be some messy portages, especially early season?
