BWCA dinner "

HighnDry, I appreciate the invite and it does sound like a really cool event to see all of the gear and boats and of course to meet everyone! I don't think it's in the cards this year but I'm thinking I will be able to make it next year and future years once I'm done with school.

Welcome! I love fungi, too. I've even been told that I am one, myself ;)

Welcome to the forum! There are lots of members of this forum that will answer questions share their knowledge if you ask! I have been the beneficiary of much of this advice and there is many lifetimes of good stuff on this website. Hope you can enjoy this as much as I have, I didn't do my first trip until I was 47.

Hey y'all,

I have been lurking for around half of a year and figured I might as well make an account and introduce myself! I might only know a small few of you in person but I'm excited to become a part of the community. My name is a reference to morel mushrooms which applies to my interest in fungi at large.

Alongside childhood trips into the BWCA and Quetico I also worked up in/near the BWCA for a couple seasons and still reside in MN. After I complete school and save up on money I would love to spend a whole season exploring what I can of canoe country.

I am unsure of how often I will post around here but I love to read people's stories, about the local history, philosophies, and general discussions. Maybe I will comment in on a photo contest and a general discussion here and there. I think this is a really special part of modern day's internet that still deals so closely with people and a place so thanks for having me.
