I loved this place. Always a great place to stop on a hot afternoon.

That was a nice little place. I haven't been back there for several years. I hope they can rebuild!

Mocha: and the plan to bring bison to Grand Portage!!!"

Sad to hear about this. I was there two times last summer.

Please tell us more about the Bison and Grand Portage, thanks.

So sorry to hear this! It was a favorite of ours--and of Anna's, too!

Oh no! I was just thinking of them this morning. Best custard ever. I'm selfishly sorry to hear this and especially sorry for the owners.

Too bad, two fires this year will be a kick in the gut for that community.

Sydneys Custard shop, on the street that heads to the coast guard parking lot, suffered a staggering and complete loss of their business monday morning.

Saw it on a Mpls news station this morning. Hopefully they will have updates later. WTIP.org has quite a bit of news on that as well as upcoming road construction at Hwy 61 bridge from MN to Canada, and the plan to bring bison to Grand Portage!!!

Great pizza, sandwiches, and roof top dining with a panoramic view of Lake Superior. This business will be sorely missed.
