The teeth appear worn and smoothed, which would indicate older age.

that is moose, i've seen my share of cow skulls. that is small to midsize . less than 1 year if it was a actual cow. so maybe 10-12 months old.

You only have a small part of the total skull there....most looks to be broken off. It was a larger beast than you think.

That’s what a buddy of mine said…the only question he had was the size of the skull in relation to the development of the teeth. Size says youth but teeth are very developed.
