Here's your dream project for this winter... 15' cedar strip canoe - $250
In case it expires... 15' cedar strip canoe - $250 Needs restoration finished. Thinking it's a little above my head and could use someone with a little more knowledge and experience. Needs gunwale, keel, yoke and seats. Definately a project but a good start. Will be worth plenty more when finished. Currently just asking $250 b/o

Frugal bastard here. I'd cut it into pieces and put resized parts in the trash on a weekly basis. What a waste of a sanding belt.

Cut in half and make 2 sweet bookcases?
I recently bought an aluminum canoe for $50 that I want to repair. A tree fell on it. Will be starting a new thread when I start that project.

Sometimes you need to know when to just let things go.

I think that would be best used as yard art. Or, it would have been had they not started sanding it.
