Awesome! Guess that will solve the pack hanging problem. Just contact UBER Eats or Door Dash canoe service for some McDonald's burgers and a couple of Happy Meals for the kiddies. Single portage too, if you don't need a food pack any more. Skip fishing as well. Just order a few Filet-O-Fish sandwiches.

I’ll vote for candidates who support cellular free wilderness areas. It’s nice to get away from the wife and kids every so often.

There is already satellite phone service in the BWCA. This is just about cell phone companies adding satellite capability to cell phones that will then work everywhere. It would make it a bit simpler to have satellite service because you won't need a different phone. But it will probably still be expensive per minute.

And wait to you see UBER eats delivery fee.

In 2022, I had a resupply delivered right to my camp on Sucker Lake. It was kind of surreal & felt like getting Door Dash groceries. If I do that again, I think I’ll get a dominos pizza included for the lol’s. There is not much better than some fresh food (steak/veggies/fruit/bread) arriving at camp after a month+ of ‘trail grub’.

The experience gave me a (likely poor) business idea to rent tablets preloaded with maps/information & have the user be able to order delivery via the tablet to their camp. Forgot or ruined the TP? A new roll is a few clicks & a few hours away haha. I imagine growlers of cold beer would be the most ordered item.
