Done. It was a wonderful (second) trip . . . and I'm almost 73. :)

Please take a few minutes to complete the 2024 BWCA Usage and Experience Survey. If you took more than one trip, please consider completing it for each trip. We look forward to hearing your feedback.

BonzSF: "You know, I would fill out one of these but my last two trips have been to Quetico. The jurisdictions are different but the land is the same. We start in the Boundary Waters but are just passing through. The experience is completely different so it would be interesting to see what surveyed (?) think. I’ll throw out less people, easy campsite availability as plus’s and no fire grate or latrines as minuses
So should I fill it out to contribute my 2c ?"

Nearly all of my in-season paddling is in Quetico as well. It's more like traditional wilderness canoe tripping there, and the US Forest Service could learn a lot from Parks Ontario in terms of actually managing people numbers to better protect the resource and user experience.

Amen!
For about a decade now, I've been putting in the extra day (or two) and traveling much farther north than Q just because I can. It's fantastic!
Not to say Canadians don't do things like use the fire pit for a garbage can etc too but the human pressure is considerably less on a land that is vast. Especially in the back-country. Paradise!
Sucks to have to pay the nightly per person fee but they have a wonderful resource and a right to charge what ever they want or even close it down to US completely if they so choose.
I haven't been to Q from the BW for quite some time. It was pretty cool as I remember. The US side? Not so much.

Hope they take in suggestions. Note: typo on the shuttle question. Reads have you used a shuttle for entry or EXISTING…not exiting.
