And congratulations to PortageRunner for coming in second.

Lots of great photos this year, like always.

Congratulations to the winner and the other fine entries. I think it may have already been suggested but perhaps a calendar could be produced with the top 12 entries each year. I would certainly be interested.

Great shots, all of them.
It surely makes me want to be there. Even if i had to be in the deluge rain picture.

I missed a few threads and just noticed the Photo of the Year announcement which allowed me to see all the other finalists...Wow!! Thanks for making my Monday morning a bit brighter...I love me some outstanding BWCA pics!! Glad we haven't completely abandoned photography for video and live streaming! A great picture captures the essence of the "slow down and enjoy the journey" nuance that is the BWCA! Thanks all for sharing your tremendous pics!!

I felt honored just to have my photo included in the end-of-year contest. Looking at all of the wonderful images helps me to cast my mind back to the beauty that is in the BWCA/Quetico. How can one not grin along with the gentleman preparing stuffed peppers on Pipestone Bay or imagine oneself following behind the voyagers on the portages or ....

I'm grateful for the monthly photo contests here that allow me to see the BWCA through the eyes of my fellow canoe trippers.

I'm looking forward to many more lovely images in 2025 from you all on BWCA.com.
