I think the lake is Contest Lake and not Comfort Lake. Comfort Lake is the headwaters of the Island River.

They showed on TV last night being air lifted by chopper in the middle of the woods. Said a broken leg.

You are correct. I looked at in on the map even and my mind read it as comfort.

The story said "west of Comfort lake" which is just east of the Stuart River. Guessing he was on a portage on the Stuart river between Stuart lake and Whitefeather lake. Not in a PMA. Glad he's OK.
