Favorite that I've actually seen:

Ticklin' and Noodlin'

It was about a 30ft houseboat that looked like a port-o-potty on pontoons on Dale Hollow.

Just wondering what your favorite boat/canoe/ship names are?

The "Orca", the "Maquis Mouse", "The Sieve" and the "Sans Souci" are towards the top of my list, what are yours?

When I was in high school in the 1970s, my cousin had a light blue fiberglass canoe at our cottage near Milwaukee. It was called the "True Blue Brew Crew Canoe". Needless to say they were, and still are Brewer fans. Many of the players on the team now remind us of the old gang of Robin Yount, Paul Molitor, Cecil Cooper, Gorman Thomas, Rollie Fingers, and Jim Gantner, also known as Bambi's Bombers.

I always liked that old wreck on the Jimmy Buffet album, "Good Luck". Then you have the "Monkey Business" that senator/pres candidate Gary Hart got busted on. "Miss Behavin'" is worn out, but it was big for a while. On a tangent, I built an airport terminal last year, one female employee had a BMW Z4, tag said "XPD4IT". Ex paid for it. That's cold. ;-)

The names "northern lights" or "pickled piker" popped into my head when I opened this thread. "silver minnow" would be cool for an aluminum canoe too.

How 'bout a WORST NAME nomination...

We rented a sailboat out of Keywest labeled "Girlfriend". EVERYTIME we got on the radio to call our friends in another boat, 5 other boats would chime in to make fun of our name... It was like Beavis & Butthead were out there just waiting for us...

A name I've thought of, but haven't used: "Kids".

That way, I can raise some eyebrows when I describe my next adventure: "I'm going to go out and paddle my Kids for a week straight".

Or, after coming home, "I had so much fun paddling Kids last week."

I bought an old sailboat one time called "Breaking Wind".

Last summer I saw three big old pontoons with names that made me chuckle: The Intimidator, The Calapso, and Yacht-Sea.

On a trip up to the Adirondacks we were hauling four canoes on a real nice aluminum canoe trailer we had rented. I don't believe the trailer had ever been used. One of the support arms on the trailer failed and snapped off on the Pennsylvania turnpike. I looked in my rear view mirror and saw our aluminum canoe flipping through the air and a tractor trailer swerving aggressively to prevent the canoe from entering his windshield. The canoe landed perpendicular to the lines in the slow lane about a 1/4 mile from were we were able to stop. My Boys ran and dragged the canoe off the highway. I expected the worst, thinking how I was going to rent another canoe for the trip ect. The canoe suffered absolutely no damage, we secured it to another bay on the trailer and off we went. The canoe has been named PA. Turnpike ever since
