It worked really well as a bow paddle since it has such a wide south end (so to speak!). It will probably be my extra paddle now since both Grandpa and I got two wooden beavertails.

Love that lake for it being like Top of the World where it is in the watershed,just can't catch anything out of it tho,winter or summer.
Was there once April 1 one year winter fishing and did have 6 adult wolves run by us on the ice. I seen them come out of a draw onto the ice. It was a moment I will always cherish.

Pinetree it was taken at the bog area west of campsite #649 on the
border trail.about 1/2 hour hike west of stairway portage.
