Veggy, yes that was me. I forget who I was with but they were quite confused by how I called some random guy Veggy and he responded in the affirmative!
I have been back through that lake twice since and always think of our encounter.

I am confused as to how this thread, or the tail end of a prior thread with the same title, somehow got cut and pasted into a new thread with the same name. I had posted this thread, had a number of comments, and then we ended it a month ago. Now it pops up as new but with only a fraction of the original posts.
Must be The Wendigo.
