It sounds like you are just about ready. The nervousness will go away pretty quickly once you're under way, but the excitement will remain. I'll bet you enjoy it.

I'm almost 2 months from my first solo. I changed my plans and am going in on Fall Lake instead of Lake One. Easy portages and I was there last year. We never really explored Pipestone Bay where I want to stay. Since I got a new pack for Christmas, I practiced packing yesterday and tried out my new Flex light chair. All my gear fits without putting anything outside the pack.
I just need to practice hanging a pack and I'm am ready to go. When I go with my brother he hangs the food pack.
I am getting excited and nervous.

You go jeepgirl! :-)
You might want to check out some of the replies in the Listening Point-General Information Forum. "pswith5" recently started a subject asking for solo advice. Some of the feedback there may be helpful to you.
Have a fun and safe trip jeepgirl.

Preparation builds confidence and reduces the unexpected. The pswith5 thread does have some good advice, but from what I gather you got things pretty well in hand. With no one to interrupt your visit with mother nature you will likely have a better visit. Enjoy.

quote Longpaddler: "You will return a changed person.....have fun." thats for sure. if for some reason you end up not liking solo dont say never again. for me the second time was the charm. have a great trip and travel the portages carefully.

It will be a different experience going solo. You have to think about what you are doing a bit more. And as I said on the pswith5 thread you do everything. So you have to allow for a bit of extra time in camp. Be careful and have fun.

Remember... You have to leave your jeep at home... or the ep. :)
Have a great trip!

I'm picking up the canak the day before my entry date. I plan on spending the day on the water and doing a portage or two. The jeep will be just fine in the parking lot.
