Have a great trip. My son is still mad at me for getting rid of the Metro. Had 240,000 on that big 3 cylinder 1 liter on it when I sold it. Guess it ended up having 300,000 on it when she finally went.

the trip is getting off to a rocky start, the old kanoe kar went off to the junk yard with a leak in the gas tank.
i moved the rack to our Geo Prizm which runs fine but it's not as big and gets pushed around in the back draft off the semi's.
10 days and i plan to make it as easy a trip as i can and i'll see how the knee replacement works out on the carry's on the Moose River.
i'm going thru the chow bag again today as i think i have to much "fun stuff".the breakfast came in at 6 1/2 pounds and thats the heavy meal with pancake and egg mix.dinners are all freeze dry and rice packs with freeze dry chicken and beef.lunch maybe has too many power and candy bars but by tonight i'll "pull the straps" and call it a trip.
i'm no good at posting long trip reports but i'll put a few notes and photos in after i get back.

Have a great time! We used to go to LLC (east side) every year for years until we put a moratorium on going there for 5 years. Well, it's been about 7 or 8 years now. I'm thinking a solo trip there or a group solo trip heavy on fishing is over due. I've never taken my solo there before.

I hope you, your GEO and your canoe stay on the road. Drive careful and have a blast.
