Not a bad park. Striper fishing was on.
Many spiders that looked like daddy longlegs but weren't.

Unfortunately not an hour after I got the canoe off the truck we headed to the Hillsboro ER because I'm a dumbass and needed 10 stitches to put my hand and thumb back together. No canoe for me all weekend. Will go back with my brain when we get a chance.

Stayed in a retreat center there once about 15 years ago, not in the state park. The state park looks nice. I used to spend a lot of time at Dinosaur State Park, which is a little farther north. Used to do a lot of mountain biking there. Now I usually just head up to Eisenhower SP because it's less that an hour from my house. Have fun. As you know, this time of the year watch the weather.

Question of my own.

Anybody been there? We're going this weekend.
