What kind of facilities does it have? Water? Elect? Outhouse?
Sounds like a good time.

Yurt

Last January I reserved this little hideaway.... It is part of Craig Lake State Park in the UP of Michigan.. WE stayed there for 3 nites after staying at Pretty lake SP. We saw no one on this 100+ acre lake the entire time we stayed there. The DNR has a way fancy boat ramp and 3 campsites right there with picnic table, fire ring, outhouse...also unused the entire time we were there. This is week of 4th of July.
Yurt was awesome...put up in 2012. Late spring and fall might give a better view of the lake down the hill when the maples lose their leaves. The lake is nice to paddle on with a nice island for swimming, lunch, and snoozing. One day we drove over to Craig Lake and paddled around there the day. Parking lot had a lot of wehicles but I think most were staying at the two buildings or backpacking. WE only saw one campsite taken. Most of the people camping were at Van Riper SP down the road where one has to check in and get the key to the yurt....
