Beautiful pictures. Looks like a fun time.
Flying to Missouri in the morning, but unfortunately, all work, no paddle.

Man that blue canoe is sure pretty in pictures. The guy in it isn't bad either lol. What a great time we had. (the scenery wasn't bad as well) Counting the days till we can do it again!

That IS a beautiful canoe, Frank; enjoyed every minute!

MississippiDan and I met another board member and paddled a couple days on the river with him. Frank, Flatlandpaddler, was a great guy! He taught me a few things and was a big help putting my NEMO tent as it has been awhile since I put it up! Unfortunately, all 3 of my sleeping pads, no, FOUR sleeping pads were ruined so we car-camped and I used a Z-rest on top of the wife's cot. Looks like I'm in the market for a couple new pads? And I'm heartbroke about that Exped down mat :(
Anyway, here's a few pics of the upper river Akers to Pulltite and Pulltite to Round Spring:
