Paddled this section just over a week ago and the water was the highest I've ever seen. Skeeters were very bad in camp but no trouble on the water. We packed a screen house as there are no portages. Once we hit camp it was the first thing we set up.

Heading into the TFF this Thursday morning, but we'll be out Friday 5/22, so too late to help out. Camping in the no-wake area, looks like there's been plenty of rain. Good luck!

Trying to find someone to shuttle our vehicle. Email to Hawk Nest outfitter isn't answered yet (over a week). Anyone know of any other outfitters up there that might do this for us. Memorial Day weekend.

Have fun, Bob. That's supposed to be a nice section of river. Quite remote. Take some pics!

gonna put it off to July.... reserved a campsite at Bittersweet Lake in the NHIL....a sweet place as well. John Bates said water level on river is low. and nearby outfitter wanted $70 to drive me from the flowage back up to hy 51. Never able to find a scout troop that could use a donation to move it for me as well. Buy July I will figure something out.. It is still on my bucket list dr bob
