Nah! We are having a weird weather year too, these pictures are of the top of the Coast Range, usually deep in snow this time of year. We are having a draught here on the Oregon Coast.

that's fine ...but I would guess 1/2 of the photos in the Picture a day threads are outside the bwca ...at least mine are. It's a chance for photography enthusiasts to share their photos ..you have much to offer

fishguts... I don't know where you live but if you have any photos from around troutdale, the infinity loop area (zigzag river), Astoria... I really like the scenery in those places.

I've only been as far south as Florence. your photos are lovely and make me want to see that part of OR next. two trips, 12 days, just isn't enough time to see much of the state.

Sorry Mocha, we live on the South Coast of Oregon....way down by the California border, and don't get up that way often....here are some local shots.

I'd trade places with you in a heartbeat. How'd you like the western suburbs of flat Chicago? Monday the high will be -13 with -45 degree windchill. Those are some beautiful pics.

Mocha, Ya! there are similarities! I like that painting! There are some country roads that are picturesque. :-)

mooseplums, I have considered posting photos on the "Photography in the BWCA" Private Group Forum....but it's name kind of precludes photos from outside the BWCA. So I post them in the "Artist's Corner". ????
