Any chance one of you has a used one sitting around that you would like to sell. I would be interested in a two canoe position trailer or a four canoe position trailer. I always manage to pack two canoes and 4~6 people's worth of gear into the old van for the annual trip to the BWCA from Ohio, but it sure would be nice to have a little room in the van instead of sitting on top of the packs! I'm headed up the the BWCA June 3rd and could stop anywhere between Akron, Ohio and Ely to make a purchase. Dave |

I have a Triton trailer base with moveable Yakima towers & 78" crossbars. Has a built-in Yakima Rocket Box for gear. You can see pics & get details by doing a Craigs List search in Eau Claire, WI. |

The Harbor freight idea can work too. While I've bought a few descent quality items from Harbor Freight, I've had more than my fair share that didn't last the length of the job. I'd be a bit apprehensive relying up of their trailers for a 2,000 mile round trip, though I admit the pictures of the above trailer look very good for a few hundred dollar investment. My hope was to find a guy like Wrestlencanoe that has a Remackel parked in the barn that just doesn't use it enough anymore. From what I've seen and read, these are very well built trailers so finding one in the 2nd hand market may prove to be a long shot. While I would like to buy new, my camping/fishing wants do not rank too highly on my wife's priority list! Dave |

Does Harbor Freight have a tongue extension? How did you get the extra length? |
