Hi Choppy - I lost the rudder from my boat (same as yours). I never took a photo of how the rudder fin was shaped. Can you post a photo of your rudder? I have material and just need a model to start with.

Bumping this up. I knocked a couple hundred off the asking price.
Got strung along by a couple guys and then winter came.
Iceout is right around the corner, ha.

I purchased this new in 1987. It made 5 or 6 trips to the BWCA but hasn't been in the water since 1991. It is the expedition kevlar layup, as stated on the original receipt. Included is a removable portage yoke that I added.
Weight is approximately 50lbs.
Asking $2,200.
Located in central MN.

I have a Loon from about that same era. Use it on Lake Michigan every summer. Awesome canoe. Would like to track down a new rudder. Any leads?
