Well, IF they'd go for it, I'm sure I'd be meeting you cuz it would get stored at my place. I can pretty easily reach anything within an hourish without much fuss. Madison or something in the western to northern Chicagoland area. If you happen to be planning a trip up this way yet before the end of the year for whatever occasion, that would be something to work with as well.
Long shot: maybe Nctry will be passing through.
If we're just too far from each other for it to work out, oh well. I'm not sure they are ready to pull the trigger on something anyway, and there's a chance they may want to go straight for a larger canoe since they mostly hit big water with me, and they've got a dog and a daughter to fit."
Ben's in Texas and WILL be headed back up north to Chicagoland before going back to MN. I'd bet Dave could meet him along the way if you'all can work something out?
Bro Dave, call or e-mail me and I'll give you Ben's phone number if you need to arrange delivery?

Reminded my friend. They weren't ready to buy anything last time, but they'll be coming with me to the BWCA in May, and they might start to feel a little more incentive to buy something instead of renting.
