While I don't need and cannot store another canoe, I confess I've opened this thread several times just to look at it. Perhaps I am some sort of sicko but, I kinda have a thing for IXP.

Old man question...what is IXP? Update: never mind; I checked it out on NS website.

That’s the boat I’ve been lookin for! Planning a trip up north soon to test paddle. Where are you located? My email is listed in my profile if you’d prefer an off forum conversation.

Sold to Aaron. Just wanted to mention what a pleasure it is to work with people from the forum. I always feel leery about having people from Craigslist show up to my house. Every canoe I have sold on the forum is to someone I would invite into my house. Thank you Flying Moose!

Just reread my post and it sounded vague to me. To rephrase, I want your boat. I’m in Kansas City and can make the trip late next week to have a look and test paddle. Thanks,
Aaron

After going down a small river in Wabakimi in June and doing things with a royalex canoe (we were in a tandem, trip-loaded) to get through log jams and shoot rapids that I would be unlikely to try with Kevlar, I am sold on materials like royalex and this IXP for those kinds of trips! Saved a whole lot of portaging/ brushcrashing…. Someone is going to buy a sweet ride!

$3,105.37 new with tax. If anyone is interested but feel the price is out of line e-mail me your best reasonable offer.

I was really drawn to the no foam core and reasonable weight. I would definitely choose IXP over royalex again.

LOL! Same here! An IXP Phoenix is the next boat I will buy, and I only wish this one had become available when I could make it work.
