I have a Mad River horizon that is 18’ and 50#. I has wood gunwales and is in good condition. I would like to get $1200. I also have a Itasca that is 19’ and 49#. It was a outfitter canoe that saw heavy used but I reconditioned it. Would like to get $1100.
I live in East Grand Forks.
E-mail me if you are interested.

There is a Northwind 18 for sale in: Items for Sale or Wanted. That boat may be your ticket.

Dan, thanks for your offer, unfortunately circumstances have changed and my level of interest in buying a canoe has declined somewhat. I'm just going to mark this as "sold". TK

If you look at the Voyageur North used canoes Facebook page....it looks like they still have a SR Q17 and a MN III left. (and MN II but you don't want that it sounds)

Give them a call

I have a SR Quetico 16 foot and 2 inches which will be available after this year's trip which is in July. It has a couple of noticeable dings in addition to the regular scratches I would expect to see which reduces the price it should bring. It was purchased new around 2003 and has been used once a year. It has been stored in the garage when not in use. I use it tandem although I have the third seat for it.

Color is red. Still has a lot of miles in it and tracks well. Right now, it is still hanging in the garage and will be up until I decide to start training by carrying it around the neighborhood in May. Pictures then. Several good stories about that.

I am going to price it for $1,100.00. If not sold for that, I intend to use it again next year and probably reduce the price at that time. You (Thistlekicker) will have first right to accept the canoe until May 15 or so.

If you are interested in my canoe posted here on March 9, please respond here so we can get together on the terms of price and delivery. I can send you E-mail pictures. The only change on my posting is the canoe is actually a 2006 instead of 2003. For more info about the SR canoes in general, you can see the SR web site. I will hold this canoe for you for 6 days until Friday May 22.
