Does anyone know anything about this canoe? Is it similar to an advantage?

I picked up a C-1 Flatwater some years ago and am willing to part with it if anyone is interested. I bought it as a tripper and then realized it wasn't really suited for that.

I have a 79 jensen solo, 17 ft I bought used. I enjoy paddling it and am planning on taking it to the BW some day. I do not know anything more about it. Fiberglass 45 pounds. If any one has more info on it let me know.

That's probably the boat listed above--perhaps made by Jensen or someone else using his designs. Wenonah used Jensen's designs, and the C1F above was designed by Jensen and offered by Wenonah until the early 1980s, when it was replaced by the Advantage series (and then the Js, etc.).

I paddled one in the early 80's, and really enjoyed it. It was their Jensen-designed flatwater racing C1 (C1F). It preceded the Kruger-designed Advantage, with some design differences. If I remember correctly, the Advantage was a detuned racer (they also made an Advantage XL, which was the race version). C1 racer designs have changed a lot since then. When I bought my C1W, I was considering the C1F, as they both paddled similarly, but I wanted more depth and volume for bigger water. It will be lower volume than the Advantage, thus probably not as adept for tripping. It is a blast to paddle though. I never paddled the C1F loaded, but have spent a lot of time in the C1W loaded. Attached is a scan from an old Wenonah (1982 I think) catalog.

Thank you! I had seen online something called a K-160. Looks very similar.
