Hey KM... welcome to the board! Sounds like you have a nice Prism for sale/trade. Great canoe. As a suggestion, you might want to try selling it outright, then buying the canoe the best fits your needs. Just a thought.

We have an "Items for Sale or Wanted" forum down the page just a bit. I'll move your post into that forum after a few days so folks can see it and you don't think it got deleted.

Looks like you live in Duluth. Good spot.

I was hoping the price I paid for It ($2,000) or ideally, a fair trade for a tandem

I have a 1994 Wenonah Prism elli kevlar in excellent condition. However, it’s a solo.
Now that I have a family, I’m really looking into trading it for a lightweight tandem. Anyone out there want to make a swap??

Here’s the story... my neighbor bought it new from Piragis in 1994. She only used it on the St. Louis River Estuary (no rocks). She broke her hip in 1997 and hasn’t paddled it since. It’s been out of the sun for YEARS. She offered to sell it to me and I bit. As I was saying - excellent canoe in excellent condition... just too small for me.

Hope to hear some dialogue!

How much are you looking to get for it?

I have a couple canoes I might consider trading. One is an Itasca and the other is a Mad River Horizon. Both are Ultralight.

E-mail me with your phone number and we can talk.
