I used to own a fiberglass one. It was basically bombproof. Performed great loaded or unloaded. GLWS.

Just got back from 10 days w mine in the dub.
Unflappable.

Well used and cared for wilderness touring canoe, 17'2" Kevlar, 60 pounds, adjustable bow seat, yoke pads, red. This canoe has been on many expeditions, is seaworthy when loaded, fast to paddle, and light to carry. $1000.
