I hate when people tell me that making things is easy when all I'm doing is looking to buy and already did the analysis that the price is right. (I like to make stuff, but I don't need to make everything) I own three of these and love them, but needed a fourth in a pinch- had a grommet kit handy (they are cheap) and installed a grommet in the end of the bag the tarp came in and it works 90% as well. I love Dan's extended throat on the ridgeline stuff sack, which is the only thing missing from my DIY.
