I have the same issue and it was very confusing until I got used to it. It also took awhile to figure out where the link gets put in the pop up window because the labels don't really line up well. Just keep practicing:)

It's not just you, and it isn't just your browser. This site has always had that jank for me. Windows 7 with Opera, with Firefox, with IE...Windows 10 with Firefox. I'd complain, but I've seen the same and similar complaints fall on deaf and/or apathetic ears before, so screw it.

Sometimes it is a Settings issue. When posting from my work computer, the smaller pop-up window for adding a link pops up behind the primary window I am using, rather than in front. I learned this only when closing down my work space and discovered the window I needed.


Great looking Magic canoe. Really like the color. Seems in great shape. (J-stroke to steer the thread back on course)

That’s the one.


I’m going to see my son tonight and hopefully he can teach me how to link from Craigslist. I read the tutorial, but haven’t got it down.

It's fairly complex- you have to click on the "Add a link to this message" at the bottom of the text screen. I suggest a professional consultant.

I never comment on other people’s unsupportive posts but seriously, Banksiana? Your sarcasm is how you are going to welcome a new member to this amazing site full of helpful and knowledgeable people? I mean no disrespect but if you don’t have anything supportive and helpful to say, it’s best to say nothing at all.
