Selling my Royalex Penobscot 17, forest green in color. Old Town specs these at 65 lbs. These canoes are becoming hard to find, even harder to find a good one. I believe this is the nicest one you’ll likely find anywhere. It does have a handful of small surfaces scratches, but no damage whatsoever. Interior of canoe and cane seats look brand new. This canoe was bought new in 2002 and has been in the water less than 10 times. I’m posting on the BWCA board before Craigslist or marketplace because an enthusiast should have it. I’m located in the twin cities, but currently have the canoe stored at my place in Ely. Planning to bring it home to sell in the next month or so, but could also sell it up there if you happen to be from the northland. Ultimately I’m looking to buy an ultralight to replace it, so if anyone had a Wenonah MN II, Escape, Sundowner etc in good shape, I’d be willing to make a trade or possibly a trade Plus cash on my end.
