If you end up west of the Cascades, there's a lot of paddling which the Advantage is ideal for. I got into marathon racing in Bellingham 40 years ago, and there are lots of slow rivers, sloughs and lakes.
East of the Cascades, not so much.

It's a tractor sliding seat and has the adjustable foot brace bar. These are both really nice features for trimming the boat/stability/control.

Hello,

I'm considering selling my Advantage I bought last year. We are unexpectedly moving across the country to Washington State. Due to the nature of paddling in Washington I don't think I can warrant keeping this canoe as I will mostly be using sea kayaks instead. This boat was bought in brand new condition and is still in great shape. No dents but a few surface scratches from normal Boundary Waters use. The boat is incredibly fast ( I cruised at 4mph )and can haul gear nicely. Stability is good in this boat. I really enjoyed paddling it with a double blade but it also paddles great with a single blade.

Specs: Length16' 6" (502.92cm)
Gunwale Width22.5" (57.15cm)
Maximum Width29.5" (74.93cm)
Waterline Width29.5" (74.93cm)
Stern Depth14" (35.56cm)
Center Depth13" (33.02cm)
Bow Depth 19
Year: 2020
Weight: 31#

Price is firm at 2700$. I will include the standard pedestal style portage yoke. This is a great deal on an excellent canoe. Please email at bapazian1@gmail.com.

Otherwise call or text eight-four-five 590-0816. I am located in Duluth, MN

Thanks for the info. We are going to be in Ellensburgh Washington. You know if it's possible to paddle upstream on the Yakima River? Otherwise it looks like the Wanapum Reservoir near Vantage is the closest option for flat water of any size
Really looking forward to checking out Chelan and other mountain Reservoir. Plan to paddle in the sound, San Juan islands, and once the border opens BC. Are you still in Washington? We could paddle sometime contact me if you want.

It's a great boat though if anyone is interested in it. Definitely the most fun solo I've ever paddled!

Nope, Montana. My daughter lives in Bellingham, so I still get out there some. I've paddled Ross Lake, Lake Wenatchee, both of which are pretty close to you, and lots of coastal stuff. BC is close too.

I lived in Washington (Pullman) for 25 years and found plenty of padding. There are a lot of stretches of the Snake that are good. Some of the Cascade lakes have some good paddling. In the middle of the state near Othello is something called the Winchester Wasteway that is a very nice overnight trip. The name is a bit of a turn off, but is just referring to irrigation water that is returning to a larger channel or a lake. The channel runs through a mix of state and federal wildlife land and it has more bird life than I have heard anywhere plus a lot of cayotes. There is also very nice paddling in northern Idaho at Priest Lake and especially Upper Priest Lake. I paddled a lot on Upper Priest. It's grizzly country so that gives it a different feel, especially if you are on a solo overnight trip. I've done that several times but I never really got comfortable with it. There are some designated campsites where steel food cabinets have been installed. I would think that paddling upstream on the Yakama would be a challenge. I fished it several times but never paddled there. The river is very heavily controlled by upstream dams. A lot of water is released during the growing season for orchards down stream. There would be some nice downstream runs however. I didn't notice where you currently live, but if it's in the Minn./St Paul metro area I's be happy to meet you sometime to pass on further info.

Any pictures? Does it have foot brace? What type of seat?
