I'm selling my 1987 Wenonah Advantage, asking $750. It's not in perfect shape, but it's fully functional and served me very well on a couple BWCA trips last season. I'm selling it because I got a deal I couldn't pass up on a newer lighter Advantage. It has a gel coat, weighs 47 lbs and I'm pretty sure it's a tuffweave. I just did a couple repairs on it - There was some kevlar fabric around the base of the seat frame that was coming loose, so I refreshed the epoxy around and over the fabric. This repair was preventative, the seat was totally solid before the repair and I had no concerns about it coming loose while portaging it with my seat yoke (not included). There are also a couple small chips out of the gel coat on the bottom, but I sealed them up with epoxy to smooth them out. It won't win you any beauty contests, but you might win a race or two. It's sleek and fast and it paddles great with a weeks worth of gear in it (I don't fish much, but I had some room left over with a hiking pack and a food pack). I'm located near Belle Plaine, MN. About an hour southwest of Minneapolis. Email me at sdenholm19@live.com |

VaderStrom: "Heck of a deal!!! I've got the same layup but with a white gel coat. Best solo I've ever paddled. " Advantages are amazing. I was in a Minnesota II on a trip this May and we couldn't touch my buddy who was paddling his Advantage. We tried racing across a lake and it was no contest. |
