Check with Piragus Northwoods in Ely. They would have used paddles. Talk to Adam in outfitting, he will find something for you. He may store it until you head up there.

Hey all,
My son and I are attempting the Border Route Challenge in May. We're picking up a beater Sundowner at Canoecopia, and I wonder if anyone here has a beater or extra carbon fiber paddle they'd be willing to sell? We'll be at Canoecopia on Saturday and could meet up - but we're in Northeast Iowa and could travel as well. We have two nice new ones from Newman Designs...but would love to have a lightweight backup paddle along, and don't want to break the bank. Just wondering, thanks for your consideration!

Thanks Carl - Just checked and they have their used gear up. Maybe a bent Wenonah, but I was hoping for a straight shaft...we'll see.
