I have a rack that fits in a 2” receiver. Need to get it out of my garage. Also have the adapter that will allow using it with a trailer attached. E-mail me at carlscanoes@gmail.com. Carl

I have a bar. For some reason I can’t attach a photo from my photo gallery, but it’s on page one of my default folder. It’s no longer attached to a vehicle.

Do you have receiver hitch that you can use (not pulling a trailer)? If so you can find a receiver mount for about $80. I have a set of steel clamp on racks that I would give you for free but I live in Texas. I bought them several years ago and used them to haul a kayak one time but have since upgraded to a Thule system.

Yes I do. I have a goal post style single bar that goes in my hitch but now I need the uprights and bar to put in bed of truck. This will be my front bar with my back bar being the goal post style rack. Make sense?
Gives me a wider span tying in my canoe instead of 2 bars in my bed. I could put a bar on can of truck but I did that with my last truck and it messed up my weather stripping. Made winter driving cold. Lol

How would you connect to bed?

I also have a Spring Creek suction cup bar that is held with a strap though the cab. I don’t think it would damage your door seals. It will give you added length between the bars. It’s well built and not very dear to me. Carl

I see a lot of home made jobs in EP parking lots if you can't find one. Probably cost less than $100 to make one from wood.

Looking for a single bar, no drill for the back of my truck. Similar to the Thule xsporter but any off brand is fine too. Looking for new, used or to borrow/rent for one week in May.

Post a picture of your truck box and someone will have a idea.

I thought about thus just a little leary. Haven't figured out logistics.. Those square holes in rail of my truck aren't drilled out in front. It's weird.
