Selling my 2005 Merlin II solo canoe for $400.00. I am located in the Omaha, NE area. Back in 2017 I tripped while I was portaging the canoe in Quetico which resulted in two small cracks in the gel coat near the bow and stern of the canoe. I purchased a gel coat repair kit from Northstar canoes. Northstar assured me that the supplied gel coat would match the Almond gel coat on my Bell canoe but as you can see from the pictures it is not quite a match. While repairing the two cracks in the gelcoat I also filled in any deeper scratches that I found on the bottom of the canoe.
While the repairs may not be cosmetically pleasing I have taken a 30 day Quetico trip in 2019 and two week BWCA trip in 2021 and the patches did not leak and are water tight.
