Sorry for the late response. The frame is aluminum. How long it takes to put together depends on how much you've done it. The first time probably 45 minutes because you need to figure out how everything goes today. But the time drops after that. 20 minutes? It's faster with two people.

Folbot Greenland II folding kayak in very good to excellent condition. Comes with a spray skirt and a set of paddles. It was made around 1999 or 2000 but has been only rarely used and shows little wear. The hull is in excellent condition. Breaks down into two tough zipped bags for storage or transport. I got this for an Alaska trip that never materialized. $900.
