Zulu: "I had one in the early 1970s I bought at The United Store in White Bear Lake Minnesota. It was revolutionary to me. It wasn’t my parents two burner Coleman stove.
I don’t know what happened to it. I still have the filler cap. It was used a lot beach camping and I think it got wet, rusty and full of sand. I don’t think I valued it then. Cooked in fires mostly, and hadn’t started on coffee yet. It probably just heated cans of beans.
I hope it had a good life. I’m going to take care of this one. Maybe just put it on the shelf with the Water Pipe from The Electric Fetus also from the 70’s.

Monday evening anytime before 7:30 Pete. You pick a spot.

Thanks."
Monday is perfect. Where are you coming from? I live in southeast metro. Cottage Grove specifically. But, I am flexible. ( ok I am old and stiff) but willing to meet.

Great! I’m coming from Stillwater. How about we meet on Monday in the parking lot of Jerry’s Foods in Woodbury at Radio Drive and Bailey Rd at 7:00pm.

I think they call this new-old stock!? It's a 502-700 stove that's new in box. Box is open ( for pictures) has not been lit nor fueled up. I suppose I could ship it seeing it isn't combustible. ? will double check with p.o. Really nice stove. Collectible? Has a 11-80 stamp on bottom. I have too much stuff. Thinning my collection. Asking $75.00 I don't think you will find many like this. Thanks, Pete

Hi Pete. That looks like a great stove. I’ll take it if it’s still available.
I’ll be out of town until next Monday. Maybe we could meet after dinner in your area sometime.

Hope you and the family are well. Let me know.

Ok. If you decide you want a beer there is a little brewery on that corner. 3rd act I think it's called. I'll buy the first one if we go this route. Otherwise I'll be driving a forest green Chrysler pacifica.

Let’s meet at Third Act Brewery. Can we make it 6:30? I have an appointment at 8:00 in Maplewood so it gives us more time.

These were great stoves. As a 12 year participant with the Wabakimi Project I learned to love these stoves. Uncle Phil had many of them, it was all we used on Project trips. He had stoves with portions of the pot supports burned away that continued to work without fail. I was sorely tempted on this stove but I already have too many stoves.

What a find! An unused antique, still in working order. Those are great stoves. Tough, simple, lots of BTUs. I hope it works out for the buyer.
